Thursday Thoughts

Happy Thursday everyone.  We had pretty strong rain storms this morning here in the Twin Cities area but they have cleared out and the sun is shining.  It is so lovely to look out and see the sun shining.
Today on Facebook I found a whole bunch of messages I had missed because of this "New" format they have.  I had to apologize to a lot of people.  I love Facebook but I wish they would quit changing it all the time!
One of the things that can be quite daunting when you first start getting serious about learning Photography is understanding all the terms they use.  Here is a Glossary that defines all the terms they use pertaining to lenses.  I am not sure if I have all of this straight myself but I have improved over where I started.  This is important because the lens can make a huge difference in the pictures you take.

This article is kind of interesting.  It is Panoramas taken to the extreme.  I have not ventured into doing Panaoramas as yet.  It seems like it would be a ton of work to stitch all the photos together in post processing but I may try it if I ever have some shots that would warrant all the extra effort.

I personally love vegtables and I try to eat them every day but my husband is not a fan at all.  All he wants is a big hunk of meat and some potatoes.  The folks at Learn Vest have put together 18 recipes for vegtables that are available this time of year.  I really like them roasted or grilled especially Asparagus.

In honor of tomorrow's Cinco de Mayo celebration here are 36 recipes to try out on your family.  I found these on the Tip Hero website.

If you do not want to cook tomorrow, Teresa's Mexican Restaurant in Lakeville is having a Cinco de Mayo event.  They will have a tent set up with live music.  They have the best Mexican Food.  It starts at 5:00PM tomorrow.  I hope to see you there!
