Friday Fun

Happy Friday everyone. My battle with Sprint's Internet connection is still going on so I writing this on my husband's IPad.
I had a great day yesterday shooting pictures with my Photo Buddy, Tina. We went to Hastings, MN and shot pictures of Vermillion River Falls. After that we went to Red Wing, MN and had lunch at the historic St James Hotel. After lunch we shot some pictures of their city park and then we drove up to a bluff over looking the city.

I have had some requests from people for copies of my Photography notes that I have been jotting down for the last few years. I thought I would do one or two each day. Here is the first one:
For Waterfalls or any moving water. Manual Mode F22, ISO 200, 1/2 to 1second exposure. Camera must be on tripod and you need to use your in camera timer or remote trigger. Cloudy days work best and you need to use a Polarizer or Neutral Density Filter. On a sunny day you can try using both.
Today's Thought For The Day:
"If you live through defeat you're not defeated. If you are beaten but aquire wisdom you have won. Lose yourself to improve yourself. Only when we shed all self-definition do we find who we really are. My Attitude-My Life-My Rules
