The work week is off to a start with a beautiful sunny
day. It is my Birthday today so I have
been enjoying all the Birthday wishes I have been getting today. My husband is taking me out to dinner tonight
and then we are going to downtown St. Paul to take some shots of the
Cathedral.
One of my Photo Buddies was talking about a website that had
some great prices on cameras. It is
called Digital Depot. I checked it out
and the prices really looked good. I
have not heard of this company before so I cannot comment about their services.
I am always wary when the prices are so
much lower than their competitors. I
have found that sometimes they have great prices but they charge ten prices for
the shipping. So, it is buyer beware.
If you are heading out on a vacation be sure to be aware of
what is going on around you. Make sure
you keep a close eye on your valuables and camera gear. Thieves do not take a break in the summer
months. They target IPads, laptops, cameras, cell phones, etc. I am a big proponent of travel insurance. It is a small price to pay for peace of mind. Call me if you would you need help with

Here a couple of websites that will help you plan your next
photo shoot. They give you tips on the
best places to shoot in different locations around the globe. You can search locations by city or zip
code. They track sunrise, sunset and
moon rise times as well.
Adorama is offering a special on photo prints. You can get an 11 by 14 inch print for only
$2.00 plus tax and shipping. The sale
ends June 27th so don’t delay if you are interested.
