Monday Musing

Monday is my least favorite day of the week.  I always have a long "To Do" list.   Monday is the day when it is just one foot in front of the other until you get it all done.

Today I would like to feature the Minnesota Valley Photography Club.  They meet the first Thursday of the month at 7:00PM at Lakeville Area Arts Center, downstairs.  It is a great organization and you meet a lot of nice people who share a passion for Photography.

Here is a quote from an article by Dorie Greenspan: "The Maya and Aztecs considered chocolate sacred-the blood of the earth and a gift from the Gods says chocolate historian Mark J. Sciscenti.  For Mesoaamericans living around A.D. 1500 chocolate was an integral part of bethrothal ceremonies with the men and women giving each other chocolate.  The gesture, Sciscenti says, essentially meant  I am offering my heart to you."  So, yes it is that important.

There is a Fundraiser coming up to support U12 South Baseball team in pursuit of their dreams to play in the national invitational youth baseball tournament in Cooperstown, NY.  It will be held at Babe's Restaurant in Downtown Lakeville on Saturday March 24th from 5-9PM.  We will be donating a Candy Gift Basket from Miracole's Candy Shoppe for their Silent Auction.

I started playing Words With Friends on Facebook.  It is very similar to Scrabble which I really like.  My sister, Denise, is already beating the pant off me.  If you are a Facebook user give it a try.
